podcast, episode 11

Since it was Thanksgiving and it's the holiday season, I decided to do the podcast along the themes of family + childhood + hip-hop. I meant to post this podcast on Friday morning, but I got sucked into the (lame) Black Friday sales... oh well. At least it was a good time with friends, and I did manage to get some cheap DVDs ($8 to .99 cents!), along with some Xmas gift shopping done.

You can download it directly from this link right here. (right click & save as)

The podcast is about ~34minutes long, and is ~31.2mb, 128kb mono MP3.

Playlist of songs in the cast:

1. Ahmad - Back In The Day
2. Nas & 9th Wonder - 2nd Childhood (remix)
3. Common f. Bilal, Pops - Be
4. Kanye West - Family Business
5. Ghostface Killah f. Mary J. Blige - All That I Got Is You

Background music :

NUJABES - くもみ (Kumomi)

Comments:
I just laughed out loud. Little Gar has that worried-eyebrow thing going on. Then I looked at your dad and Big Gar has the same eyebrows.

yeah, my facial expressions haven't really changed much since I was like 4 years old. haha.

Hey Gar, just want to say that I like your podcasts. I have almost all of them except for number one, which is timed out for some reason. I can't seem to download it

But yeah, they are good work music. I listen to them while I plan my lessons or play video games. heh. Anyway, I never heard most of these songs except for the ones by M-flo (one of my favorite groups) and the Faye Wong song "eyes on me." It's amazing how good some of the music is getting on video games nowadays.

Anyway, you sound like a dj sometimes on your podcasts.

As for video games, I still have yet to play Okami.

Nah man, I can't afford a plane ticket back this December. Just not happening unfortunately. I have to save up $ for my trip back in March.

Justin-
DOH! No worries, man... I understand the life of the impoverished quite well (I'm still living it). Enjoy your time in the motherland and I'll see you in March.

Jon-
Thx man... it's good to know I have at least one fan. ;)

BTW, Okami is awesome!
