better than boot camp

Got a bad kid? Forget boot camp or juvie... send him to a monastery.

I'm a sure a lot of non-Asians who read that article might think it was cruel for the parents of that kid to do that to him, but personally, I think it shows a lot of love on their part. After all, if you really do love your child, you care not only about their physical and mental development, but their moral development as well. They saw that their son was heading on a self-destructive path and they did something to stop him from going down it further.
