warm beach '06 post rally

Tonight was the post rally for this past year's Warm Beach camp... it was good catching up with all the kids and the counselors / leaders to see how everyone was doing. As someone who's been on both sides of these kinds of events (both as an attendee and as a staff member), it's definitely much more hectic being one of the organizers in charge of it! Thank the Lord it all came together, despite a couple of minor glitches and last minute craziness... yet more reminders of how completely dependent effective ministry must be on the grace on God and the willing sacrifices of the people involved.

It's always such an inspiration to see people work so tirelessly to help others, and to see how God really has worked in people's lives, especially the kids. Ah, to be young again...



I'm already looking forward to next year!
