Another something interesting about this year... Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, and Ramadan, the Muslim Holy month, will be converging. Both holidays are a time for a spiritual reflection in their respective faiths.

On a Chinese astrology note, 2006 is the year of the red Fire Dog - animals cycle every 12 years, with elements cycling every 5. My father would have been 60 years old this year if he had lived. Strangely enough, according to some astrologers, Earth Horses like me are supposed to have an interesting year.
