I've mentioned the site before, but I thought it worthy of a mention again because a book was just released (Amazon link). To me, it's one of the most consistently interesting sites on the Internet... if only because in reading other people's tragedies and dreams, I see echoes of my own.

If you live in the Washington DC area, there's going to be a fundraiser on December 14th benefiting the National Hopeline Network. There's an art exhibition showing some of the postcards sent into the project.
